The Bybee research team was awarded a 5-year R01 through the NIA to design an inclusive measure of financial hardship for persons living with dementia and their care contributors. This project extends current measures of financial hardship to the context of dementia, extends screening for financial hardship to those providing direct and or financial contributions towards the care of someone living with dementia, and will be inclusive enough to capture the unique experience of LGBTQ+ persons living with dementia, who often rely upon chosen family.

We are now recruiting LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+ persons living with dementia and their care partners for this study!
